The Eighth Circuit Solicitor’s Office Victim Witness Program assists individuals who become involved in the criminal justice system as victims of crime or as witnesses. Our goal is to ensure that victims and witnesses receive fair, compassionate treatment throughout the process.
The criminal justice system can be complex and, for victims of crime, an already difficult situation may involve physical, emotional or financial challenges. Our Victim Witness Program provides information, assistance and support throughout the legal process while helping victims and witnesses understand what to expect.
