The Multi-Disciplinary Juvenile Treatment Court (MJTC) is an early-intervention, problem-solving court program designed to identify at-risk youth and provide meaningful support before behavior escalates.
The program recognizes that juvenile offenses may be connected to underlying issues such as trauma, substance exposure, mental health challenges and negative peer or environmental influences. MJTC combines accountability with treatment and support to address those underlying factors while helping participants work toward long-term success.
How MJTC Works
MJTC combines accountability with support through regular court appearances, counseling and structured program requirements.
Participants receive coordinated services designed to address behavioral and substance-related issues while providing the structure needed to make positive changes.
Treatment & Support
The program emphasizes rehabilitation by addressing underlying issues that may contribute to a juvenile’s involvement in the justice system.
Participants may receive counseling, structured services and mentorship intended to support both the juvenile and their family.
Program Goals
MJTC is designed to reduce juvenile crime and recidivism, address root causes of delinquent behavior and strengthen families and community stability.
Through early intervention, treatment and structured accountability, the program seeks to help participants achieve positive long-term outcomes.
A Multi-Disciplinary Approach
MJTC brings together the court, treatment resources, mentors and other support systems to address the individual needs of participating juveniles. This coordinated approach focuses on accountability, rehabilitation and early intervention while helping participants develop the tools needed to become productive, law-abiding adults.
